Workshop Experience in WSO2

WSO2 is one of the most powerful IT company in SriLanka. Miss Sarasi made us a day to visit WSO2. It was a great day in my life because that was the day I started loving my degree for the first time.

Our workshop was held in 7th floor named as Area 51. When we entry they gave us a notebook and a pen that branded as WSO2 logo.

                          

The session was started sharply at 9.00 am. The first session is the introduction of technical writing. They explained basic things such as what is the technical writing and how it is done. Next session was some grammar activities. There were some sentences with some errors such as meaningless, grammatically incorrect like those things. So we had to correct those sentences. After that session, the next session was a group activity. We were grouped as 6 members to each group. They gave a task what we had to do was A man wanted to use ATM machine to withdraw some money and it's the first time that he was going to use an ATM machine. So he needs a guide to using it. So, we had to write that guide. Our team lost in that game and winning team get WSO2 t-shirts.

                      

                                                      

Then there was a break and they gave us refreshments in a nice manner and all of us enjoyed it well. Then next session was about technical writer as a career and they explained the heirachy of technical writer. After that there was a fun activity.Again we were grouped and we have to choose an object we wrote 4 sentences(hints) about that object and others have to find what is it. Deshanjali' s group was won it and they won chocolates. 

Finally there was a conclusion and Sithara thanked for WSO2 team.The session is very important and very interesting.
